Happy Memorial Day

What did we do before smart phone cameras?

Another beautiful day with friends.

The weather cleared up and we had a great time at Joaquin Miller today to enjoy the day off together.

I read a postcard the other day that said, Memorial Day is not a Happy BBQ Day so I tried to keep that in mind today while we observed the Holiday with our friends.

How does a day like today end up having BBQ's around the country I wonder?

Also, according to this film, Frontline: The Medicated Child,children as young as 2 years old are being diagnosed with bipolar disorder. WHAT? I thought there were too many cases of ADHD, but bipolar diagnoses in children have risen by 4000% in recent years.

Stuff You Should Know (awesome podcast)

I have a commute to work.

Albeit, it's not a long one but I take the time to get comfortable on the bus ride home and turn on my favorite podcast. It's Stuff You Should Know, with Chuck and Josh.

I heard about them first from Wil Wheaton's podcast Radio Free Burrito and I am so glad that I bothered to hunt it down. It might very well be the most awesome-est podcast out there.

Like did you know, there is a 10,000 year old clock?

Or what the future of Earth will be?

Or what Karma is?

Or what shot gun houses are?

I might have filled my brain with a lot of frivolous information but I feel so inspired with all this information. (I might be diving deeper into my own eccentricities though.)
